Quality Assurance Analyst

At Intellyk, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the highest standards of quality across our applications and systems. This role requires expertise in test planning, automation, and defect management, combined with strong analytical and communication skills. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to design test strategies, execute test cases, and deliver reliable solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirement documents to create and execute test scripts, test cases, and user scenarios for end-to-end coverage.
  • Write test cases manually and develop Python test scripts using Robot Framework based on business and functional requirements.
  • Design and implement QA test plans (manual and automated) for client/server and web applications using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Prioritize and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts across multiple environments.
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate findings from tests; prepare reports, monitor bug resolution, and track defects.
  • Implement Page Object Design Patterns, Pytest fixtures, and Log4j reporting to develop frameworks with industry best practices.
  • Create detailed test cases for methodologies including black box, functional, regression, automation, build acceptance, and UAT.
  • Develop and review automated scripts for multiple testing stages (Scrum, Integration, Stage, Production Validation).
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, ad-hoc, and cross-browser testing (IE, Firefox, Chrome).
  • Conduct accessibility testing and Adobe reporting validation in sales applications.
  • Identify automation scenarios from test cases/user stories and develop automation test cases accordingly.
  • Run full automation suites for each release, analyze failures, and ensure regression coverage for new changes.
  • Design XPath, CSS selectors, XML traversing, and element identification queries.
  • Perform root cause triaging, log capturing, and system validation using Splunk and UNIX commands.
  • Validate databases and extract data using SQL/PLSQL queries.
  • Prepare test plans, strategies, scenarios, and data for automation, performance, and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with teams to analyze business, system, and technical requirements; contribute to solution design and estimation planning.
  • Identify and report defects using tools such as JIRA, HPQC, Rally, iTrack, TDP, WebTrax, Agile Craft.
  • Prepare and present daily/weekly status reports to stakeholders.
  • Train, onboard, and support new team members.

Additional Skills

  • Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Selenium WebDriver, and Pytest, with experience implementing Page Object Design Patterns and industry best practices.
  • Skilled in test case design, execution, and reporting, ensuring comprehensive coverage across multiple browsers and platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/PLSQL for database validation, data extraction, and backend testing.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis, log capturing, and system validations using Splunk and UNIX commands.
  • Strong knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools including JIRA, HP ALM Quality Center, Rally, iTrack, TDP, WebTrax, and Zephyr.

Technical & Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and defect management processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and participation in ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
