Data Analyst

You will work closely with product, operations, and technology teams to deliver actionable insights, build robust analytical models, and design solutions that drive strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and build machine learning models
• Work with product and business teams to understand data needs, provide in-depth analysis support and share associated business insights
• Design and deliver automated Business Intelligence/reporting solutions.
• Extract data, build, manage and maintain complex analytical models to help drive decisions in Supply Chain/Operations organization.
• Perform regular ad-hoc data querying and analysis to better understand customer behaviors including acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention
• Gather, synthesize and interpret disparate quantitative information sources, develop meaningful insights and clearly disseminating to key stakeholders
• Create and update regular reporting based on a variety of data sources
• Understand, monitor, QA, translate, collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure on-going data quality
• Draw flowchart to indicate the input data sets used for sorting and merging techniques to get the required output.
• Work to help the research team accurately and appropriately capture and record data for scientific study and validation.
• Prepare technical reports, user manual and operations manuals as required by the user, organize, coordinate and conduct meeting and seminar on various issues pertaining to automation.
• Perform root cause analysis on complex data anomalies and working closely data stewards to define best practice
• Facilitate review sessions with management, business users and other team members.
• Collaborate with the data teams, ensuring that data infrastructure supports the needs of our analytics team and validating data quality.
• Directly interacts with more senior level internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Sr. Managers, Directors, etc.)
• Act as a subject matter expert in one or more designated data domains
• Play a lead role in Data Governance Domain Workgroups as domain SME
• Partners with BSG and business to define & document data related requirements, and settle deliverables and deadlines, utilizing negotiation and creativity independently.
• Own the collaboration process between the business and tech teams to finalize requirements gathering within an agreed timeframe.
• Submit final requirements (or initial stories) for development work to begin.
• Responsible for drafting the UAT plan and capturing input from users, and provide engineers with consolidated change requirements.
• Facilitate scope change discussions and provide recommendations to Project Owners.
• Accountable for validating that business requirements are met through the project’s delivery cycle.
• Python or R programming, focusing primarily on the statistical analysis.

Additional Skills

  Strong expertise in data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.

• Proven ability to design and deliver MIS (Management Information System) reports that support business decision-making.
• Hands-on experience in dashboard development using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
• Skilled in data visualization and storytelling, presenting complex findings in clear, actionable formats for stakeholders.
• Ability to work with large, diverse datasets and apply statistical techniques to uncover trends and insights.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline management to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and collaborative teamwork skills, with a focus on continuous improvement of reporting and analytics processes.
• Awareness of emerging data analytics trends and tools, with the ability to adapt and apply them effectively

Technical & Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.

• Core Technical Skills:
  • SQL, HIVE, R, Microsoft Excel, external data files (.txt, .csv, .xlsx)
  • Tableau, Power BI, and other BI tools
  • Python (Pandas, Sci-kit) and Machine Learning techniques
  • Big Data Ecosystem tools and frameworks
• Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience in building scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
