Programmer Analyst
We at Intellyk are seeking a Programmer Analyst with strong expertise in mainframe technologies and a passion for delivering scalable, cloud‑native solutions. This role offers the opportunity to support, enhance, and modernize mission‑critical applications while collaborating across teams to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced information systems applications using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Haskell, HTML, CSS, Java Servlet, REST APIs, JSP, JSTL, jQuery, Ajax, and WebSockets.
- Utilize frameworks and tools including Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, Node.js, Express, Vue.js, Angular, Google Guice, and Android frameworks.
- Design and develop relational and non-relational databases (RDBMS) using MySQL, SQL, NoSQL, and MongoDB.
- Configure Apache Tomcat for deployment and management of developed applications.
- Conduct quality assurance testing of applications using Mockito, TestNG, JUnit, Jasmine, and PyUnit.
- Implement version control systems using Git and Mercurial to manage source code and collaborative development.
Additional Skills
- Strong understanding of software design principles and architecture fundamentals
- Knowledge of performance engineering practices and quality assurance processes
- Ability to translate functional and non‑functional requirements into robust system specifications
- Proven experience in designing and coding complex applications, developing test cases, and working within SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, with excellent problem‑solving abilities and collaborative teamwork skills
Technical & Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Hands-on experience with COBOL coding and debugging
- Proficiency in JCL job setup, scheduling, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of DB2 SQL, including performance tuning and use of database utilities
- Expertise in CICS online transaction processing, with proven debugging capabilities
